Throughout the year, the PTA hosts various events and programs to promote CHE community engagement. Examples include Books for Birthdays, Reflections Art Program, Spring Marathon, Yearbook, Watch D.O.G.S., and 5th Grade Camp. Below are the dates for our events for the 2024-2025 school year. We hope to see you out there!!

Back to School Night: Thursday, September 5, from 5-6:30pm. Meet your child’s teacher, drop off school supplies, pick up gently used uniforms, learn about the PTA, and enjoy popsicles.
Last Names A-L: 5-5:30
Last Names M-Z: 5:45-6:15

Popcorn Fridays: Students can enjoy FREE popcorn on the first Friday of every month.
First popcorn Friday will be Friday, September 20, so more of our students can enjoy this treat.

Read-A-Thon: Students will read and earn money for our school. This 2 week program will run from October 7-18. Funds raised by the 5th grade will go towards 5th grade camp and celebration. Funds raised by the rest of the school will be put towards the Family Assistance Fund, buses for school field trips, and the general PTA fund (to be used for special assemblies, Harvest Party, Valentine's Dance, etc).

Book Fair: The first book fair of the year will be October 14-18, 2024. Students will be able to shop during school hours. There will also be shopping availability after school. Volunteer for book fair here

Harvest Party: Friday, October 25, from 5:30-7:30pm. Families can enjoy trick-or-treat stations, a food truck, and more. Costumes are encouraged!

Valentine’s Dance: Thursday, February 9, from 5:30-7:30. Check back soon for more information on this family event.

Book Fair: March 10-14, 2024 Students will be able to shop during school hours. There will also be shopping availability after school. 

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 5-9, 2025. Shower our amazing CHE staff with thanks.

Obstacle Course Fundraiser: Spring 2025. See our Fundraising page for more information.

PTA Carnival: Friday, June 5, 2025 (time TBD). Check back for more details about our annual end of the year celebration.

Skate Night: Join us Tuesday, June 4, from 5:30-7:30pm at El Centro Skate Rink in Federal Way for a family friendly skate night!
