PTA Supported Programs & Calendar
Throughout the year, the PTA hosts various events and programs to promote CHE community engagement. Examples include Books for Birthdays, Reflections Art Program, Spring Marathon, Yearbook, Watch D.O.G.S., and 5th Grade Celebration. Below are the dates for our planned events so far for the 2025-2026 school year. We hope to see you there!!
If you would like to volunteer to help with any of these events, please click here.

Popcorn Fridays: On the first school Friday of each month, our popcorn volunteers come together to pop up bags and bags of popcorn for all the students in our school. Generous donations to our PTA through fundraising makes this fun CHE tradition possible! Our next Popcorn Friday is February 6th. If you'd like to help, signups are posted!
Read-A-Thon: October 6-20, 2025. Thank you for your generous donations and support!
Book Fair: Mark your calendars for our Spring Book Fair, Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20, 2026, the week following spring conferences! Students will have the opportunity to shop with their class during their regularly scheduled library specialist time. We will also have after school shopping available if volunteer support allows it. Be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities in the coming soon!
Books for Birthdays: Our PTA and the Crescent Heights Library have teamed up to organize a program called Books For Birthdays. Your child has the opportunity to donate a book to our library in honor of their special day. A stamp with the donor’s name will go inside the front cover of the book for all future readers to see. A PTA member will also come to your child's classroom to showcase your donated book, read to the class and take your student's photo for our hallway bulletin board outside of the library. Your child will receive a special bookmark as a thank you for their donation. Visit www.chepta.org/books_for_birthdays for more information!
